This past weekend a bride requested that her late night pass included M&M cookies instead of our traditional Chocolate Chip Cookies. Graciously we made these delectable bites and since then I have had a huge M&M old fashioned cookie craving. To satisfy this obnoxious hungry beast (myself) I whipped up some home-baked goods.
Ingredients
1.5 sticks of cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all purpose Gold Medal Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1-1 1/2 cups M&M’s
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and using a non-stick cookie sheet, or grease the cookie sheet
In a large mixing bowl, stir butter and sugars until well combined.
Add your egg, vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt. stirring to combine.
Finally add M&M’s, stirring to combine.
With a medium cookie scoop, place dough 1 inch apart from each other. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through. Let cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
